CASETiFY Club has four levels that you progress through by making purchases. Orders only count towards level thresholds if they aren’t cancelled, returned or refunded, and your level will take 10 days to advance once you meet a threshold. When you first enrol, you’ll start at the Basic level, then reach Bronze, Silver & Gold after spending $40, $120 & $200, respectively. Levels aren’t quite permanent - you must make at least one purchase yearly to maintain your rank. If you don’t purchase anything in a given year, you’ll drop a rank and have to climb back up again to earn that tier’s rewards.

Rewards mostly consist of discounts, broken down into permanent and one-off. CASETiFY rewards customers with one-off discounts each time they reach a new level, and these can be redeemed against orders worth $40 or more, so long as they’re made up of 10 items or less. Permanent discounts are given to Silver & Gold tier members and can only be applied to a maximum of 5 items per order. Unfortunately, you can’t apply any discounts to newly released or collab collection products, gift cards or delivery fees, so you won’t really feel the benefit if you’re interested in the latest or most unique CASETiFY products.

Once you’ve spent $40, you’ll reach Bronze and earn your first one-off discount of 15% off. Besides this level-up reward, Bronze doesn’t confer any perks you can’t enjoy without a membership. Most rewards are saved for Silver, which you’ll hit after spending $120. First, you’ll receive another one-off discount, this time for 20% off. You’ll unlock your first permanent level discount, which nets you 10% off across the site. On top of that, you’ll receive a Birthday Gift voucher. Choose wisely, and you only get one of these a year!

Spend $200, and you’ll reach the final level, Gold. At this point, your permanent discount will be upgraded from 10% to 15%, and you’ll also receive another one-off level-up voucher, this time for 30% off. Finally, the 6-month warranty CASETiFY offers to all customers gets extended to 12 months, giving you a little extra cover in the event of product malfunction.

So what’s the verdict? All in all, the CASETiFY club isn’t a particularly exciting reward scheme. Before you’ve spent $120 (about £96), you’ll only earn a small discount on one order, and frustratingly, the discounts you earn do not apply to CASETiFY’s latest & most unique products (the same restrictions even apply to the birthday gift). There are a lot of limitations to each reward - as well as the discounts being quite specific, they can’t be used to cover delivery fees, and the warranty doesn’t cover accidental damage, theft or loss. Hence, the extension isn’t that useful either.

It’s hard to imagine one individual ordering enough CASETiFY products to reach Gold or even Silver rank, so most rank & file customers won’t find it particularly rewarding (unless their friends & family get phone accessories every birthday & Christmas). Nevertheless, the scheme is free to join, so if you plan to place a couple of reasonably-sized orders, it could be worth signing up. Even a one-off discount code is not to be sniffed at.
