Currys "Anything Happens" Insurance Policy - Keep Upgrading

Thinking of Getting an Ipod, MP3 Player, Media Player? Not enough money to buy the latest one yet. Doesn't matter. I bought a 256mb MP3 Player from my local Curry's store. Along with IT, I bought the "Anything Happens" Insurance. This said that whatever happens, they would replace my item with a brand new one if it breaks. This doesn't count for when it's "Stolen" cos it would be too easy to keep the item and just keep getting new items. Anyway my mp3 player legitemately broke down (honest) so i took it back. The woman literally took the item back and said pick out a new one. I got a more expensive one (by about £10) paid the £10 and walked off. Just like that. I saw a nice 4gb mp3 player in a sale which went down to about £20 more than the one i had at the time. "Oh no, Its broken." Paid £20. Got new mp3 player. I am currently on a 8GB Ipod Nano and i'm thinking of paying £20 to get the new 80gb (:0) classic. Not once has my item been examined while i was in the shop. It doesn't feel like i've spent £129 on mp3 players as its been over the course of a year. This is an awesome trick and i lok forward to hearing about how some of you have used it. Good Luck

i did this, when my iRiver 16gb broke, legitamitly, i didnt have this insurance, just a reciept and a guarentee, so then got a brand spanking new nano and they gave me money, as at the time the iRiver was £160, whilst the nano was only £130 (:

tried taking my laptop back after a month (broken fan) and currys wouldnt take it

This doesn't count for when it's stolen because it would be too easy to keep the item and just keep getting new items. they would just replace my item with a brand new one if it breaks.
