hi guys, im new here and hope to add to anything thats not been expressed...just bought a Nintendo Ds and thought id add the games bit ive added.
Buying a "R4" card (dont pay more than £15), a "micro sd" card (2gb+), and using the internet u can download, practically any game...so yeh get cracking! would be a great cristmas pressie!!
hope that this, my 1st post can be of use to any of you..
I have just done this for my daughter with the M3 ds real - cost me £24 for M3 pack and I have so far downloaded about 7 games from NDS-Roms.com - The #1 Source for Nintendo DS Games! - still got loads of room left on the micro sd card. I reckon I will probably get about 50 games on one 2gb card.
There were a couple of games though that when I tried to play them, it showed the icons but it had a big lock sign on it - so I am guessing that some companies have protected their games so that they can't be copied.
Even so, there is hundreds of games that can be downloaded.
I just wanted to also let you know that I am the most computer illiterate person you could ever wish to find so if I can do it - anyone can!!
I just followed the step by step guide that tripeagle has posted on another thread.
As Bundy said, it's accessible to dumies.
But please can you tell me which games haven't been working for you as all those I've tried (even the Final Fantasy's which normally are the hardest to get around their protection) work on my M3 Ds Real?
Maybe your firmware isn't up to date.
the lock will probably be an error with the file(as companies generally don't have a choice if people upload the roms), try this place GBA Roms, NDS Roms, We have all the Roms - The Epitome of Emulation! plenty on there, they download via rapidshare tho so you have a daily limit of 100mb (i think)
I've got a 4gb card for mine, I play full movies and use it as an iPod haha
brilliant little things they are
must say I've NEVER had a rom with any protection on it, if you keep finding em like that then download them from an alternate source (just google the name and follow it by "rom")
some roms however, require patching so that they comply with your flashcards firmware. If anyone wants to know I'll post a thread on how to do this
can you tell me how to get the free nintendo ds lite games and how to download them i have just got a nintendo for my xmas and i am still learning so any help would be a great help to me i have ordered a R4 card
