iPhone, HTC Hero, or Palm Pre

My N95 8GB just doesn't cut it anymore, and I don't know if I am patient enough to wait until February for an upgrade so thinking of getting a new contract.

Having great difficulties in picking a phone though, what would pick suggest, the iPhone or the HTC Hero? I'm kinda favouring the HTC Hero at this point since the price plans aren't excessively expensive.

I am having the same issue, as a developer I am going for the HTC Hero so as not to be locked down to the world of Apple, had a play with the Hero and it has some amazing features but lacking sex appeal of the iphone

I have to admit to being an iphone addict! I think it's definitely worth shelling out a bit more for and the sheer number of apps being developed for it adds to its value!
I am a bit biased though!
