O2 Activated

Just got activated and have got the internet on with my Netgear router. Haven't tried the O2 wireless box yet mainly because apparently you need to have the box connected to your PC while its connected to the phone socket - this is impossible for me as my PC is upstairs and my phone socket is downstairs! Any ideas?

Do you have to have the box connected to the PC during setup?

I use a wireless adapter and I am on o2 8MB Access.

Try switching the O2 box on - if the wireless is working the light'll be on. I can't remember if it's on by default - I used Ethernet first, before I switched over to wireless.
