Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly received the latest must-have gadget for Christmas after his famous parents bought him a stylish new iPhone.

The hi-tech mobile phone has caused a storm with its sleek design and range of features and the son of Spice Girl Posh and England star David reportedly begged his parents for the £269 iPhone.

Now living in the United States after Becks' move to football club LA Galaxy, Brooklyn appears to have been influenced by the hype surrounding the mobile in America and television advertising featuring the iPhone.

A source told the Sun newspaper: "David and Victoria are aware that Brooklyn is very young to have a mobile. But they thought it would be a good idea so he could call them whenever he needed - especially with David and Victoria globetrotting so much."

The eight-year-old celeb can now use his gadget to surf the internet, call friends, listen to tunes and play games. Eldest son of Posh and Becks, Brooklyn is rumoured to be a fan of technology and spends hours playing on his PSP handheld games console.

David Beckham recently revealed in an interview that Brooklyn is becoming a good footballer for his age, with "a great strike on him".
