Kate Moss TopShop collection noted for style - 28/12/2007

A fashion collection designed for high street chain TopShop by supermodel Kate Moss has been given a special mention by fashionistas for its style.

The judges of the inaugural Daily Telegraph Style Awards praised Kate Moss for her style, ability to set trends and red carpet glamour, while her collaboration with Top Shop was hailed as an ideal way to capitalise on her ability to inspire imitations of her own style.

Judged by columnists Sarah Mower and Jefferson Hack and the paper's fashion director, Hilary Alexander, the awards are designed to acknowledge the leading lights in fashion and Kate Moss's appearance in vintage Dior Couture alongside John Galliano at the Golden Age of Couture won particular praise.

Kate Moss creates her range for TopShop by initially gathering together the things that inspire her, such as photographs, sketches and pieces that say something different in order to capture her own "unique sense of style" and a vintage feel.

The model tries each garment out before it goes into production and works closely with a team from the retailer to develop the collection.
