MYVOUCHERCODES WARNS USERS ABOUT USING MYUKVOUCHERCODES THE COPY-CAT RIP-OFF SITE
MEDIA STATEMENT
The UK’s leading free-to-use discount and voucher code website is warning its users not to be tricked into using a ripped-off version of its own site called Myukvouchercodes.com.
MyVoucherCodes.co.uk is currently taking legal advice on the options available after members of its own online shopping community raised the issue of the rip-off site Myukvouchercodes.com.
Members of the MyVoucherCodes.co.uk community commented specifically on the design of the rip-off voucher code site looking virtually identical when it first launched in the UK.
Managing Director of MyVoucherCodes.co.uk issued the following statement,
“We would urge the 4.5m people who use MyVoucherCodes.co.uk every month not to be conned into visiting rip-off website Myukvouchercodes.co.uk”.
“The site first came to our attention a few months ago courtesy of our own community of shoppers and we are now examining our legal options”
“It is obvious that Myukvouchercodes is inferior in both design, volume of discounts, deals and offers to MyVoucherCodes and we are concerned that some shoppers will be landing on the site by accident and then being duped into handing over personal information thinking that it is in fact MyVoucherCodes.co.uk”
Any shoppers who have concerns should email our retained public relations agency, 10 Yetis Public Relations on MyVoucherCodes@10yetis.co.uk
