Apple's new 3G iPhone is in demand, with four in every five people wanting to own one, according to the Stuff.tv website.
The site states reasons behind the demand not only include the 3G capability, but also the GPS services and "dirt cheap prices".
Telecoms company O2 - the network on which the new mobile phones are available - has heralded the product's arrival, stating that "there's only one thing better than an iPhone. The new iPhone 3G".
An 8GB version of the iPhone is available for free on monthly contracts that are priced at £45 or £75.
A 16GB version of the new iPhone will also be available on the network and is free on monthly contracts of £75.
O2 will be supplying the phone from July 11th and it states that all tariffs will offer unlimited browsing, reduced international roam rates and unlimited Wi-Fi access.
