Computer fans get ready, because a laptop claimed to be the world's thinnest has been unveiled by Apple.
This week's MacWorld expo in San Francisco saw the announcement of the MacBook Air - which has all the latest features packed into a computer 0.16 inches wide at its thinnest point.
The MacBook Air comes with a 13.3-inch widescreen display, full-size keyboard, built-in video camera and ambient light sensor, all encased in a sleek aluminium material.
An 80-gigabyte hard drive and Wi-Fi technology are also included, meaning the laptop is likely to be just as fun for work as it is for play.
"When you first see MacBook Air, it's hard to believe it's a high-performance notebook with a full-size keyboard and display. But it is," said Steve Jobs, chief executive officer of Apple.
The computer is set to be made available through Apple's website in two weeks' time and have a recommended price of $1,799 (£917.58).
Apple fans may also want to check out the iPhone - a mobile phone, media player and internet portal - which was launched in November.
