Computer manufacturer Asus has unveiled the world's first laptop with an aroma at Project 2008 in Las Vegas.
Asus's new FV6 range comes in four distinct flavours and each laptop features a highly-stylised case.
The scented portable computers will become less pungent over time, the company has claimed, with the longevity of the laptops aroma dependent on how often the devices are used.
Available in Floral Blossom, Morning Dew, Aqua Ocean and Musky Black which Asus said "emanates power, daring, and energy with its playfulness and musky scent" the laptops keep their smell for between three and six months.
As well as a 13.3-inch screen, Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a 320GB hard drive, laptops in the FV6 range come with a 1.3-megapixel webcam, and fingerprint recognition technology.
Previously, Asus released a bamboo-covered laptop, which the company said had "an arresting aura of spirituality, warmth and old world charm".
