Two new Asus Eee PC laptop models are in the pipeline, it has been revealed.
DigiTimes, citing sources at channel vendors, claims the computer maker is preparing to launch the Eee PC 904 and 905.
Although the new devices will have an 8.9-inch panel they will feature a similar chassis and keyboard to Asus' 10.2-inch models.
Expected to be a similar price to the current 900 and 901 Eee PC models, the 904 and 905 will have bigger keyboards than their predecessors and will eventually replace them, the sources claimed.
Asus is also reportedly considering reducing the cost of the 900 and 901.
Similar to other Eee PC models, the new devices will feature Atom processors while Asus is assessing whether to change battery and storage capacity.
The company recently launched the new G70 gaming laptop in the UK, which it claims offers "the highest level of extreme performance" through its "Multi Dual-Engine" architecture.
