The new Batman film briefly features a Nokia touchscreen handset, suggesting the mobile phone giant may be set to release the device soon, it has been claimed.
Viewers of The Dark Night are given "sneaky-peek at Nokias iPhone competitor" for around four or five seconds when it is handed over in the film by Morgan Freeman, Tech Radar reports.
The news provider adds that rumours suggest workers at the mobile phone giant are "buzzing" about the keyless 'Tube' handset, which will probably be officially known as the XpressMedia 580.
Bargain code hunters may already know that Nokia has recently launched two new mobile phones for business use, the E66 and E71, which use its Symbian-based S60 operating system and feature HSDPA, 3G, Edge, WiFi connections and Assisted GPS, IT Pro reports.
Both devices also include memory card and full device encryption as well as a VPN client to provide secure connections to company intranets.
