Traditional British holiday destination Butlin's is to offer Sushi at its Bognor Regis hotel from tomorrow.
According to the Telegraph, the Japanese delicacy will be available at the West Susses holiday resort, which will adapt traditional recipes to suit British tastes.
The menu will include smoked salmon nigiri and tuna maki rolls, described by Butlins managing director Richard Bates as the "perfect healthy food option".
He told the newspaper: "It says a lot about how modern Butlins has become."
"We are very proud of our heritage and there is no way we will get rid of our redcoats. But we are dealing with the future," he added.
Butlins, which is famed for its affordable family holidays, is developing a new hotel on its Bognor Regis site and hopes to open the ultra-modern accommodation in summer 2009.
And with the possibility of saving up to 50 per cent with online voucher codes, Butlins is a great destination for families planning a British summer holiday.
