Canon has unveiled two new inkjet photo printers which boast boosted performance easier operation.
The Pixa MP480 and the Pixa MP190 have printer, copier and scanner capabilities and incorporate some Canons latest technology.
With the intelligent scanning function, the printers will automatically crop scanned material and decide which format to save it as either JPEG or pdf.
Both printers use Canon's four-colour ink cartridge with the firm's patented ChromaLife technology, which Canon claims can produce digital prints that last for 300 years when used with its Photo Paper Plus Glossy II.
Maximum output resolution for the printers is 4,800 x 1,200 dots per inch and Canon claims that a full colour photograph takes just 45 seconds to print.
The more expensive MP480 has a 1.8-inch built-in digital display and Bluetooth technology to allow users to print their photos direct from their digital camera without using a USB connection and is expected to retail for around £50.
