People with a multitude of gadgets can now get their hands on a new five-in-one USB charger.
Capable of charging mobile phones, PDAs, PSPs, iPods and digital cameras, amongst other things, the simple USB device can be connected to any PC with a USB port and can also be used to? synchronise devices and exchange data between them.
The charger can also be connected to a standard plug socket.
In related news, Dan Trottier, a PhD student studying social networking, surveillance and new media devices, said the trend toward increased mobility and connectivity is gaining momentum.
Speaking to Queens University's the Journal, he said: "Smart-phones are seen as the embodiment of a lot of the things we like about technology, such as convergence and ubiquity."
He added that the "smart-phone craze" is the next step in mobile phone handset evolution as people become permanently connected to friends and colleagues.
