Socially-conscious Valentine's Day shoppers may wish to consider purchasing gifts that support charities, a news network has asserted.

Designer Ralph Lauren's Pink Pony line donates ten per cent of all its proceeds to fund cancer research, while clothing chain H&M has developed a charity fashion line fronted by Good Charlotte and Rihanna which is designed to spread international awareness about HIV and Aids.

Fox Business also suggested that animal lovers may wish to adopt an endangered animal, such as a polar bear, penguin or moose for their valentines this year.ADNFCR-1399-ID-18463642-ADNFCR
