Electronics outlet Maplin has launched an in-car microwave which can be powered using a car's cigarette lighter.
The British retailer claims that the 12V in-car microwave is compact and portable and can deliver 175W of cooking power from a standard cigarette lighter for fast cooking speeds.
With the in-car microwave people can heat a slice of pizza in just four minutes and get a cup of coffee piping hot in six.
Maplin advises starting vehicles before using the in-car cooker to prevent the car battery from becoming discharged by the touchs-screen operated gadget.
