News > Five ways to be chic this summer

Summer style is all about femininity, according to experts speaking to the Times.
The publication listed the best ways in which fashionistas can update their look this season, with the floral dress and full skirt among the top five.
Floral-print dresses are "crucial" - and not just for this summer, but for "every season to come".
Indeed, Balenciaga and Marc Jacobs are among the designers sending models down the catwalk in flowery patterns, according to the Daily Beacon.
Length is not the main consideration with this piece, but making sure the silhouette is kept and that minimal accessories are added.
Full skirts have also made a comeback, with TopShop combining fashionable flowers with this trend by adding layers of netting to floral ruffled skirts.
Ted Baker founder Ray Kelvin told the Times this item is "an essential feminine piece" for all wardrobes, regardless of the season.
"The full skirt captures the romance of the season perfectly," he added.
Other pieces to make the list of top five include blazers, high-waisted trousers and wedges.
