High street fashion retailer H&M is increasing its UK profile with a new three-floor "statement store" on Regent Street in London, retail publication Drapers has claimed.
The new shop, located in the former Dickens & Jones building, was designed to "increase brand awareness" and to "add character to one of Europe's top shopping destinations", H&M UK and Ireland county manager Magnus Olsson said.
He added that the new store will "provide the ultimate shopping experience for our valued customers", and is one of the largest H&M stores in the UK.
It features traditional H&M collections such as womenswear, casualwear, a denim department, kidsware and mesnware, as well as a number of niche product categories such as lingerie, maternitywear and plus-sized brand BB.
This week, the Sun reported that the latest celebrity fashion trend is "stars in stripes" and claimed that oversized striped t-shirts from H&M paired with a blazer or leather jacket are an easy way to copy this look.
