A total of eight suitcases belonging to Kate Moss - some containing items from her top-secret Topshop line - have gone missing following a British Airways flight from London to Los Angeles.
According to the Sunday Mirror, the supermodel was carrying a collection of unreleased items from her Topshop line to use in promotional photo shoots in the US.
It is thought some of the lost items included prototypes for a future range of clothes for Topshop which are likely to debut in the autumn and winter.
The newspaper indicated that following the intervention of Topshop owner Sir Philip Green, six of the eight missing suitcases have been recovered.
In related news, the Independent reported at the weekend that Sir Philip is currently seeking a buyer for department store chain BHS, as he is keen to focus more attention on Topshop's expansion into the US.
The Sunday Mirror claims that Topshop sales have been boosted by ten per cent since the Kate Moss collections were introduced at the high street retailer.
