Singer Keisha Buchanan has been fired from Sugababes, the pop group she helped found, after a shake-up due to "band politics".
In the past few weeks speculation was mounting that Amelle Berrabah, who joined the pop act in 2005, was going to split after missing gigs, but she is now staying and Keisha (pictured, left) will be replaced by Brit Eurovision flop Jade Ewens.
The threesome had already seen two of its members, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy, leave after catfighting within the band and now all three of the original singers have departed, leaving a completely different line-up to the one that started.
Keisha wrote on her Twitter account: "Dear friends, I'm sad to say that I am no longer a part of the Sugababes ... Although it was not my choice to leave, it's time to enter a new chapter in my life ... I would like to state that there were no arguments, bullying or anything of the sort that lead to this."
Sugababes are scheduled to appear at the November T4 Stars of 2009 event alongside JLS and La Roux at London's Earl Court.
