Gadget blogs are buzzing with the possibility of a new 3G model of Apple's iPhone, which is rumoured to be released shortly in the UK.
According to Pocket-lint.com, it is thought that a potential Apple event scheduled for February 26th may confirm a number of recent rumours about new releases by the company, including a software development kit for users of the iPhone and iPod touch, as well as a multi-touch trackpad feature for Macbook Pro laptops.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Apple unveiled a new 32-gigabyte iPod touch, which is expected to retail in the UK for £329 and a 16-gigabyte iPhone, which will also retail for £329, the blog reported.
"For some users, there's never enough memory," said Greg Jsowiak, vice-president of worldwide iPod and iPhone product marketing in a statement this week.
"Now people can enjoy even more of their music, photos and videos on the most revolutionary mobile phone and best Wi-Fi mobile device in the world."
