Mobile phone company Orange has announced plans to bring together social networking sites for its mobile phone users.
The new service will allow users to access more than one social networking site at a time on their mobile phone, without having to log in and out of different services.
Orange claims it will allow users to pick and choose from the best features on each of the leading social networking sites.
The mobile phone operator has teamed up with Facebook, Myspace and Bebo and will introduce the service in autumn.
Bargain code hunters addicted to social networking will be glad to hear that Orange will be bundling the MySocialPlace software with new mobile phones.
Gerard Grech, head of strategy and business development at Orange, told the Guardian: "Social networking is just another form of communication, so it extends the raison d'etre of the phone."
He told the paper that in recent trials in France the service was accessed by more people on their mobile phone than accessed the service on a computer.
Orange is currently offering a free 8GB iPod Touch with selected phones on a £35+ tariff.
