Packard Bell is set to muscle its way into the gaming market with its ipower X2.0.
The desk-top PC kitted out in red and black comes with either Intel's Core 2 Quad or Core 2 Extreme CPU and optional water cooling for near silent operation.
Optional add-ons and totally customisable specification means gamers can pay anything from £795 to £1,430 for an X2.0.
Emmanuel Fromont, Packard Bell's vice president of sales and marketing, said: "The ipower X2.0 was designed to meet the needs of all PC gamers, from pro players to league competitors and hobbyists."
"With this launch, Packard Bell extends its commitment to the world of gaming," he added.
The X2.0 will be available at the end of 2008 and will come with a Blu-ray disc drive, gaming peripherals and a stylish matching keyboard and monitor.
Packard Bell claims to have pioneered the use of the PC in the home.
