A pocket projector the size of a mobile phone has been unveiled by technology company 3M.
The new MPro110 uses an LED lamp and is capable of projecting up to a 50-inch image at a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.
A tech-news website managed to road test the little device and, according to popsci.com, 3M plans to put the projector inside a mobile phone within a year.
Writing for the technology review website Sean Captain said: "The MPro110 is pretty basic looking on the outside - just a grey box. But it gets the job done."
"It could ... be the ultimate cheap-o home theatre," he added.
The Mpro110 can be connected to almost any device capable of video output via its VGA port, including a digital camera, PSP or iPod and the projector has a thumb-wheel so the image can be easily focused.
Another firm, Optoma Pico, is also planning to launch a pocket projector this year.
