News > Powershot A2000 is 'value for money'

Despite lacking in looks when compared with other compact cameras on the market, the Canon Powershot A2000 IS offers good value for money, according to one review.
Cameras.co.uk said the ten-megapixel snapper with a 6x optical zoom produces images with good colour brightness and sharpness.
With many compact digital cameras struggling to take decent photographs using their built-in flash, the Canon A2000 provides a good alternative, producing pictures that are evenly lit and high quality indoor portraits.
Cameras.co.uk said: "I can't claim that the Powershot A2000 IS is a great looking camera when compared to some of the more stylish cameras on the market.
"Based on picture quality it offers very good value for money."
In related news, Canon has also released two 24-inch large format printers targeted specifically at professional photographers.
The imagePrograf iPF6000S and the imagePrograf iPF6200 both have a maximum resolution of 2,400 by 1,200 pixels.
