Sarah Jessica Parker and friends have reached number one at the UK box office.
Sex and the City has earned £8,767,265 since its release last week and knocked Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull into second place.
What Happens in Vegas, which stars Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz slid [,] to third, pushing Robert Downey Jnr's latest film Iron Man into fourth.
The Daily Mail has reported that UK shops are making it easy for women to copy Parker's look, claiming that dresses and accessories similar to those worn in the film are available at many stores.
Online retailer ASOS has three copycat dresses from the film, it stated, including a pink bubblegum dress, a white gown with a flower corsage detail and a green floral frock.
There are a number of money off codes available for ASOS on MyVoucherCodes, including a ten per cent discount.
