Slovakia has been highlighted as a holiday destination that offers a variety of locations and activities.
Petra Gajdosikova - managing director of Slovakia Investment Property - states that people interested in sports and culture will be able to find something to suit their holiday needs by visiting the country.
From January 2009, visitors will also be able to use the euro as the European Commission has accepted an application from Slovakia for it to adopt the currency.
Comparing the country to Venice, Ms Gajdosikova states that Slovakian cities have a rich cultural offering which includes opera and classical music performances.
She also highlights the country's landscape as an attribute visitors also enjoy, arguing that Slovakia's castles, mountains and rivers "are quite popular".
"For example, it has lakes and mountains which offer great skiing," she explains.
Slovakia Investment Property was established in 2003. It also trades as Alpha Real Estate Investments and is a member of the Association of International Property Professionals.
