Sony has added to its Vaio range with an ultra-portable laptop aimed at business users.
Powered by either a 2.26Ghz or 2.53Ghz Intel Centrino 2 processor, the new Vaio BZ has a 15.4-inch screen housed in a tough magnesium alloy and includes G-shock technology - to protect the computer's hard drive and minimise the effect of bumps and knocks.
With a spill-resistant full-size keyboard the whole thing weighs less than six pounds (2.73kg) and is designed to be durable.
The Vaio BZ also includes 802.11n LAN technology, biometric fingerprinting and three USB ports and some models come with vPro technology which allows IT technicians to repair the laptop remotely.
Sony's Vaio BZ will be joined by three other laptops in the Z series including the FW, the SR and the Z.
The Vaio Z, which has a 13.1-inch screen, is Sony's latest ultra-portable model and weighs just over three pounds.
