Logitech has put the spotlight on its latest ultra-thin self-illuminating keyboard, which measures just 9.3 millimetres in depth.
The adjustable backlighting allows users to set the intensity of light coming from the keyboard's keys based on surrounding light-levels and Logitech claims that the keyboard is its thinnest to date.
Sporting a soft-touch palm rest and a variety of multimedia buttons, including touch-sensitive volume controls, the new device which is one of three new releases from the peripheral manufacturer is aimed at users wanting a stylish-looking desktop configuration.
Logitech's president of product marketing for keyboards and desktops at Denis Pavillard said: "Style - specifically the ability to choose the style that fits one's tastes - is increasingly driving purchase decisions."
The keyboard's glow is achieved using micro-lens reflector technology giving a "backlight experience that is brighter, sharper and easier to read".
Logitech has also used its patented PerfectStroke key system, which allows for longer key travel and evenly distributes the force from users' key presses.
