A floral tea dress from Topshop has been named as a must-have fashion item for the month of March by the Sun.
The newspaper claimed opaque tights and a denim jacket are perfect companions to the springtime statement piece and offered a number of other high street style tips for spring 2008.
Sun stylist Chloe Wood revealed that runway trends such as tie-dye are set to be big hits this spring, as well as dresses with full, flouncy skirts.
In addition, denim is set to be a popular fabric choice this year, with the rugged look carrying over to safari-style dresses and caps as well.
Ms Wood also indicated florals are back this year, as well as sharply-tailored suits for the office.
Today, Topshop announced the debut of a new collection - Modern Romance - on its website, which features items with chiffon frills, "tumbling ruffles" and pleats.
The store claims "this collection looks just as good worn with a mannish blazer and biker boots as it does with bleached denims and heels".
