Toshiba has announced it is expanding its Qosmio laptop range with a selection of quad-core laptops for mobile gaming and multimedia entertainment.
Expected at the end of summer the F55 and G55 are aimed at those expecting high class video and audio entertainment, while the X305 will be marketed at gamers.
The G55 features Toshiba's Quad Core HD Processor, which has a dedicated media chip on board, allowing easy video and audio editing and upscaling of DVD content.
And the X305 is a powerful gaming laptop with a 17.1-inch screen and 1Gb of video ram.
The laptops will also sport Toshiba's patented gesture control, which allows users to control their computer using simple hand gestures and the built-in webcam, according to Pocket-lint.
Jeff Barney, vice president and general manager Toshiba's Digital Products Division, said: "In an effort to take this standard to the next level for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts alike, the three new Qosmio models have been tailored specifically towards their personal interests."
All new Toshiba products limit the amount of lead and mercury they use to reduce their environmental impact.
