How much does delivery cost?
Standard delivery costs £2.99 when only ordering packets of seeds and £5.99 when ordering any other products. If your order is made up of items with 2 different delivery costs then a delivery charge of £6.99 will be applied.
Do they deliver live plants to all postcodes?
Dobies like to ensure that all of their plants are delivered in the best possible condition. Unfortunately, because of longer delivery times to certain postcodes, they cannot deliver live plants to all locations. To see if your area is included in these postcodes, take a look at the delivery information page.
Do they deliver to remote locations?
Yes, Dobies offer delivery to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and more remote areas of Scotland. For these deliveries, standard delivery charges apply to orders weighing less than 2kg. For orders weighing between 2kg and 10kg, the delivery charge is £9.99 and for orders weighing more than 10kg it costs £14.99 for delivery. How much does delivery cost for large items?
Large items are subject to a £5 per item surcharge. Delivery of larger items is also not available to all areas and postcodes.
Returns FAQs
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, orders of perishable and personalised goods can be cancelled up until the point of delivery. Non-perishable and non-personalised orders can be cancelled from when you place your order until 14 days after you receive your order.
How long do refunds take when cancelling my order?
Your refund will be made no later than 14 days after Dobies receive any returned goods, 14 days after you provide evidence that you’ve returned your order or, if no delivery was made, 14 days after you informed them of your decision to cancel the order.
Do Dobies accept returns?
Yes, Dobies accept returns for up to 28 days after receiving your items but you need to notify them within the first 14 days.
My item has arrived damaged, what do I do?
If your item is damaged in transit, is defective or not up to standard then you should contact Dobies within 14 days of receiving your items. If you receive a plant that you believe is in bad condition, then Dobies ask if you include a picture for their plant experts to review.
Are Dobies returns free?
Dobies will cover the costs of returns if it’s a cancelled item or an unwanted substitution. For all other returns, you’re responsible for the costs of returning your items.
