When will the balance of my cruise need to be paid?
The balance of your cruise will need to be paid no later than 90 days before your departure date. Any cruises booked later than 90 days before the departure date will need to be paid in full at the time of booking.
What type of accommodation can I choose?
Well, you can choose between a range of cabins and suites onboard Fred Olsen’s cruise ships. You can even choose between room type, layout and price to find something that suits you. All of their cabins are equipped with climate control, an interactive Smart TV, a hairdryer, a desk, a phone, a fridge and a kettle.
The cruise that I want to go on is fully booked, can I join a waiting list?
Yes- you can be added to a waiting list and notified if a space becomes available.
Can I upgrade my cabin?
If you decide to upgrade your cabin after booking, please contact Fred Olsen’s Reservation Team who will be happy to make amendments to your booking.
Returns FAQs
Can I cancel my cruise?
Yes. To cancel your cruise you must notify Fred Olsen Cruises in writing. You’ll also have to pay a cancellation fee.
How much is the cancellation fee?
Please refer to Fred Olsen’s website for the exact cancellation fee you may be subjected to, as it depends on how many days before departure it was cancelled. For example, cruises that were cancelled more than 91 days before departure will be subjected to a cancellation fee that is 15% of the overall contract price. Cruises that were cancelled 41-16 days before the departure date will be subjected to a cancellation fee of 85%, whilst cruises that were cancelled 15 days or less before departure will have to pay a cancellation fee of 100%. Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
If you are unable to travel or you need to change your cruise to another, you can auction it within 90 days of the departure date. The value of the new cruise must be at least 75% of the original price and you will also have to pay a £100 amendment fee.
