What Makes You an Expert on Saving Money?

Whilst attending university, I learnt the importance of budgeting and saving where possible. I found that weekly spending budgets weren't always enough and I wanted to find ways of making my money go further, so I would search for the best deals and offers that got me better value for money. I love cooking and I found at uni making meals for one often led to spending more money than I wanted, so to save money I would bulk cook freezable meals which helped me reduce food waste and save a great deal in the long term! This has only continued as prices and costs increase, I try to find the best ways to save money, whether that's the weekly food shop or everyday essentials. With a greater understanding of how to find ways to save money, I can help others do the same.

Do You Have Some Tips for Saving Money?

Do your research! Is there a discount out there I can use to save me some money? Is there a deal that I've missed which could apply to my basket? Taking the time to find these means your savings add up! Take the time to search through sales. I know it's time-consuming and sometimes frustrating, but use the filter options to find what you're looking for and you can make some great savings! With your weekly food shop, don't always choose what's in your direct eye line, often you may be able to save money by looking on the lower shelves for inexpensive versions of the products you need or check out the reduced section for further savings on meals.
