The pursuit of keeping fit and looking great has long been a driving force for people through history. In the past, a hard day’s work really was that.
Back then, many of our ancestors would have been part of the large manual labour force - who managed to keep fit while they worked. Nowadays we live a much more sedentary work life by comparison, relying on the huge variety of sports, fitness and healthy lifestyle options available to us including going to the gym, healthy diets and supplementing with sports nutrition and additional vitamins & minerals.
These days it is a lot harder; with the commercial sector always increasing it seems our waistlines increase with it. No longer do we need to chase our dinner around and hunt it, it is all laid out nicely for us on supermarket shelves, so it is really important that we get out to exercise in and shed those extra pounds. Sports and fitness aren't always just a hobby for some people it can be a lifestyle, with their diet and exercise becoming a hugely important aspect of their lives.
