Snap up your favourite reads with The Works £1 book sale - once they’re gone, they’re gone.
The Works stores across the UK are offering books for just £1 in their book sale. Snap them up before they're all gone.
Book lovers unite. Whether it’s fantasy, romance, or thrillers, cosy season is upon us, which means it’s the best time to snuggle up with a good book – and there’s never been a better time.
The Works has launched an in-store sale, meaning you can stock up on your favourite, most anticipated reads for an absolute bargain.
The Works themselves have kept this fairly under wraps, but after TikTok trends revealed ‘The Works £1 books’ as a trending search term, it has been confirmed by booktokers across the UK that the retailer is offering books for £1 each.
If you head into your closest store, look out for books marked with red £1 stickers. One of our very own money-saving experts managed to bag books by romance author Emily Henry, dark academia author Olivie Blake, and romance author Hannah Bonam Young.
What’s more, fellow booktokers have also spotted the likes of Ali Hazelwood, Richard Osman, and Adam Silvera in The Works £1 book sale. So, whether you're looking for your next spooky read or something a little different, now is a great time to do it.
While content creators are proudly sharing their discounted book hauls from The Works book sale, commenters are debating how long the sale will last.
It’s worth mentioning that there are speculations that the sales will end when the stores run out of books, so it’s worth heading down to your local store to see if you can bag a bargain or two.
If you do find that you’ve left it too late, fear not. You can still shop The Works online sale. Alternatively, charity shops are also fantastic for offering discounted prices on books, and you never know – you might just find your next favourite read.

When I’m not writing about saving money on homely purchases, I’m either sitting with my head in a new book, painting a piece of art for my walls, or binge-watching an interior design programme on Netflix. I love to get inspiration and transform my space, usually with the help of a few Pinterest boards and a couple of tins of paint.
