It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas… okay, maybe it is. Nevertheless, if you’re starting to muse over tree decorations and seasonal pyjamas, you’re probably not the only one.

After a significant 145% increase in online Christmas purchases at John Lewis, it’s clear that customers are eager to start shopping for festive items. As a result, the brand has officially launched its festive collection in stores as of 24th September this year. Here’s what you can expect.

In comparison to previous years, the John Lewis Christmas edit has been designed with nostalgia in mind. It’s all about adding those whimsical, retro touches that make you smile.

It’s clear that this year John Lewis are going for the maximalism vibe, with their stunning range of bold stripes and harlequin decorations – some of our personal favourites.

Think ‘playful baubles with faces to bold stripes and nostalgic character decorations,’ says Lisa Cherry, head of Christmas at John Lewis. It’s all about ‘mixing tradition with a twist.’

With a impressive selection of four decorating themes, you’ll be able to shop based on the exact vibe you’re after this year.

Whether it’s Heirloom Splendour with it’s luxury and elegance; Enchancting Tales for statement pieces that add drama; Worldy Treasures with it’s elcecltic, colourful vibe; or Ancient Wonders full of the weird and wonderful, they’ve got something for everyone.

‘We’ve invested more than ever before in our Christmas decorations, gifts, and experiences this year so customers can create magical moments that feel uniquely theirs,’ Cherry states.

So, despite whether you think it’s far too early to start shopping for Christmas just yet or you’re in for the ride, don’t miss out on John Lewis Christmas shop 2025. It certainly won’t disappoint.

When I’m not writing about saving money on homely purchases, I’m either sitting with my head in a new book, painting a piece of art for my walls, or binge-watching an interior design programme on Netflix. I love to get inspiration and transform my space, usually with the help of a few Pinterest boards and a couple of tins of paint.
