What is Club Vue?
Club Vue is Vue's free loyalty scheme, and it lives inside the Club Vue app (previously just called the Vue app). Every booking you make earns a digital stamp, and once you've collected 10 stamps, Vue drops a free cinema ticket into your account.
The rewards side of the scheme is called Club Perks, and it's exclusive to the app. That's where your digital stamp book sits, along with any free snacks, drinks or bonus treats Vue hands out through the year.

Is a Club Vue membership free?
Yes, completely. There's no monthly fee, no annual charge and no paid tier hiding behind the free one. Vue doesn't run a paid subscription for regular cinemagoers at all, which surprises a lot of people (more on that further down).
All it costs you is an email address. Download the Club Vue app from the App Store or Google Play, register in a few taps, and stamps start collecting automatically whenever you book through your account.
How to join Club Vue
Signing up takes about two minutes:
- Download the Club Vue app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Register with your email address, or sign in if you already had an account from the old Vue app. Your existing account carries over, so there's no need to start fresh.
- Set your favourite cinema and your usual number of seats in the app. It's optional, but it makes future bookings quicker.
- Book your next film through the app while signed in. Your first stamp is added automatically after the screening.
That's it. There's no approval wait and no minimum spend to unlock the perks.
One question I see asked a lot: is there a Vue membership card? No, and there never was a physical one for this scheme. Everything runs through the app, which acts as your card, your stamp book and your ticket wallet in one. If you're used to supermarket-style loyalty cards, think of the app as the card. The upside is you can't leave it in your other coat.
How Club Vue stamps work (and the small print that matters)
This is where Vue's own pages go quiet, so here's the detail:
You earn one stamp per booking, not per ticket. Book four seats for the family in one transaction and you still get one stamp. This is the single most important thing to know about the scheme, and it's buried in the terms rather than the marketing.
Stamps only land on bookings made through your account. Book through the app or online while signed in and you're fine. Walk up to the box office and pay at the till, and that trip won't count towards your stamp book.
Your stamp arrives after the film, not when you book. Vue adds the stamp once the screening has actually happened, so don't panic if your stamp book doesn't update the second you pay.
The free ticket appears the day after your 10th booking. It drops into the rewards section of the app automatically. No claiming, no codes to dig out.
The booking trick that earns stamps faster
Because stamps are per booking rather than per ticket, there's a simple workaround if you go as a couple or a family: book your seats in separate transactions on separate accounts. Two adults booking individually earn two stamps per trip instead of one. Over a year of monthly cinema trips, that's the difference between one free ticket and two.
It's slightly more faff at checkout, and you'll want to pick seats quickly so you end up sitting together. But if you were going anyway, it's free money.
How to use your Club Vue free ticket

Two things to check before you get excited:
- It covers standard 2D seats. Super Saver, Saver and Regular seats are included. Fancy a recliner, VIP seat or a 3D or IMAX screening? You'll pay an upgrade fee on top.
- It expires. Your reward has its own expiry date shown in the app, usually a few months from when it's issued. Don't earn ten stamps and then sit on the prize.
Is a Club Vue membership worth it? Let's do the maths
Short answer: yes, because it's free and you lose nothing by joining. But it's worth being honest about what the rewards are actually worth, because "free tickets" sounds more generous than the numbers suggest.
Say you're a solo cinemagoer paying around £6 a ticket booked online. Ten bookings costs you roughly £60, and your reward is one standard ticket worth about £6. That works out at roughly 10% back, which is genuinely decent for a loyalty scheme, on par with the better supermarket ones.
Now run the same numbers for a family of four booking together. Ten trips at four tickets a time is around £240 spent, for the same single free ticket. That's closer to 2.5% back. Still free, still worth having, but a much weaker deal, and exactly why the separate bookings trick above matters for groups.
The other member perk is arguably worth more than the stamps: self-refundable tickets. Members can refund any online booking up to two hours before the film starts, straight from the app, no questions asked. If plans change inside that two-hour window, you'll need to contact Vue's customer service via webchat instead. For anyone who's ever lost money on a cinema ticket because a babysitter cancelled, this alone justifies the two minutes it takes to sign up.
Does Club Vue have an unlimited pass or subscription?
No, and this catches a lot of people out. Unlike Cineworld's Unlimited scheme or ODEON's myLIMITLESS, Vue doesn't offer a monthly subscription that gets you unlimited films. Club Vue's stamp system is the whole loyalty offering.
You may also have come across something called Vue Pass and assumed it was a subscription. It isn't. Vue Pass is a business scheme that lets companies bulk-buy discounted tickets (minimum order of 50) to give to staff or customers, so unless your employer signs up, it's not something you can use.

Here's the part that turns a decent free scheme into properly cheap cinema. Club Vue stamps come from bookings, not from paying full price, so the smart move is to pair your membership with a partner offer and earn stamps on discounted trips. - Sky Cinema customers get two free Vue tickets every month, valid Sunday to Thursday.
