When the Ugg Tazmans went viral a few years back, I, like many others, was desperate to jump on the fashion trend for the winter. But unfortunately, we don’t all have £125 to drop on a pair of aesthetic slippers.

So, I did what I always do when I want to buy a luxury item - I looked for a dupe. Using a combination of TikTok and my own research, it didn’t take long before I found a few options – most were similar in style, but probably couldn’t pass as the real thing.

That was, until I stumbled upon the Ego Tazmin Aztecs, which were almost identical, and under £30.

If you’re anything like me and are easily influenced by the latest trends, then purchasing dupes can be a real saving grace for your bank account. In the past, I’ve compared a Stanley Cup dupe with the real thing and even tried a Longchamp tote bag dupe from Amazon, too.

The thing I’ve found with buying a more affordable dupe first is that if you don’t like it, or don’t use it, you’ve only spent a small amount of money on it (as opposed to £125). But if you love it, you know that it’s probably worth saving up for the real thing when your dupe needs replacing.

Ugg Tazman dupes: final verdict

I’ve had my Ugg Tazman dupes for a few years now, and every time autumn comes around, I’m excited to wear them again. It’s taken me a while to properly break them in, and they’re definitely a little more stiff than the OGs.

The platform can make them tricky to walk in, though I think the same goes for the real Ugg Tazmans too, so it’s just a matter of practice. Next time, I’d consider getting the ones without the platform instead.

Nevertheless, they’re super cute and aesthetic, and they’re perfect for the autumn and winter months. And the best part is, they didn’t cost me a fortune.
