The viral Stanley Cup is a fantastic way to stay hydrated and actually achieve the New Year's resolution you set every year (myself included). But since the OG Stanley became popular a few years ago, the brand has launched another tumbler, and it’s just as iconic.

As a lover of trying out the latest lifestyle trends, I’ve compared a Stanley Cup dupe to the real thing to see whether the hype was really worth it. And now, it’s time for the battle of the Stanleys: Quencher vs. IceFlow Flipstraw.

In this article, I’ll be looking at the main differences between the two tumblers so you don't have to. From price and size to whether they’re really leakproof, read on to find out which one is worth your time (and money)!

What is the difference between the Stanley Quencher and IceFlow?

The main difference between the Stanley Quencher and the Stanley IceFlow FlipStraw is the design. While the Quencher has a rotating lid with a reusable straw and a handle on the side, the IceFlow has a flip straw (hence the name) and a flip handle on the top.

How many ml is a Stanley Cup?

The larger of the two – the Stanley Quencher 2.0 – holds up to 1900ml/1.9L (though the model I’m comparing is the 1.18L tumbler). The Stanley IceFlow FlipStraw, on the other hand, holds a maximum of 890ml/0.89L.

What is the cheapest Stanley Cup?

Of the two, the Stanley IceFlow FlipStraw is the least expensive Stanley Cup. Retailing at £43, it’s £2 cheaper than the Stanley Quencher 2.0, which is priced at £45.

Which is the best Stanley Cup?

Best value for money: Stanley IceFlow FlipStraw

Best for ease of use: Stanley IceFlow FlipStraw

Best for portability/travel/commuting: Stanley IceFlow FlipStraw

Best for spill resistance/leak-proof needs: Stanley IceFlow FlipStraw

Best for water intake: Stanley Quencher 2.0

In my experience, having tried both the Stanley Quencher 2.0 and the Stanley IceFlow FlipStraw over the last year, my favourite is the Stanley IceFlow FlipStraw.

It's much easier to carry around, keeps my drink ice-cold all day, and helps me drink more water on the go - and look good doing it.
