Argos is no different. When are the Argos sales?
The short answer is all year round. But to be more specific, holiday periods like Black Friday and Christmas are when you can expect the biggest sales. They also offer back to school sales, January sales, and sales to tie into pretty much all major holidays, and a few big events like the Queens Platinum Jubilee and Bank Holiday sales.

January Sales
Naturally, the January sales take place in January, but at Argos, the Boxing Day sale rolls into the January sales. In 2022, they offered up to 50% off across their site. They had £100 off MacBooks, up to half price off toys, and Tassimo coffee pod machines from £29. According to Alex Whitelock, a deals editor over at TechRadar, they were offering up to £200 off selected laptops, 2 for £30 on Xbox One and PS4 games, and 20% off furniture.Easter Sales
Easter has come and gone in 2022, but in 2023 it takes place on Sunday, the 9th of April. Argos usually offer an Easter sale that can save you up to a third on your orders. Over Easter in 2022, Argos offered a third of the price off kitchen accessories, toys, furniture and sports equipment. Garden upgrades were big in the Argos Easter sale for 2022 too. Wales Online highlighted the fact the Invero extra large rectangular paddling pool was 25% off, down from £79.99 to £59.99. Brick Fanatics were loving the fact Argos was offering up to 50% off Lego products.Ramadan & Eid Offers
In 2022 Ramadan began on the 2nd of April and ended on the 1st of May. Eid took place on Sunday the 1st of May and ended on the evening of Monday the 2nd of May. Argos had a dedicated section for Eid gift ideas that featured 2 for £20 on selected toys and toys under £10 if you were shopping for gifts on a budget. They also put together some suggestions for gifts for him, gifts for her, gifts for the kids and some homeware gear that could be handy when celebrating Eid.Father’s Day Deals
The 19th of June is Father's Day in 2022, and Argos have got plenty of shopping edits and deals to mark the occasion. They’ve got up to 25% off selected men's jewellery, and up to half price off selected men's watches too. Not to mention, an easy way to shop for the biggest discounts is to shop for Father’s Day gifts by price. It’s an ideal way to shop on a budget if money is a little scarce.Back to School
Around August and early September, Argos focus a lot on the back to school essentials. Uniforms, stationery, bags, that sort of thing. And while they offered a discount code in April for 20% off school uniforms, that’s not the norm. Typically, what you’ll see is a focus on budget options for school uniforms, with prices starting from £3.50.University Essentials
Once again, Argos don’t really offer discount codes for university essentials, but they have offered student bedroom bundles at reduced prices. A product that’s been given a lot of attention is their kitchen starter bundle. At £56, you get 50 pieces, from knives and forks to baking trays and mixing bowls, it is featured in the Independents rundown of the best student kitchen set and has 4.1 out of 5 on the Argos website from customers. If you’re on the lookout for a deal at Halloween, you’re usually better off leaving it until the last minute. In 2021, Argos had 25% off costumes and decorations beginning on the 26th of October. While it can be a little close to the date for some, it can be a great time to pick up a costume for next year if you have the storage to pop the costume away for a year.Argos Black Friday Sales
Black Friday takes place on the 25th of November in 2022, and if previous years are anything to go by, it promises to be a big one for deals at Argos. Last year they had up to 50% off tech, toys and watches. And while it’s a way off, the Argos Black Friday 2022 page is already live. Argos Christmas Sale
If it’s savings on Christmas decorations, trees and lights you want, the best time to buy is just after Christmas in the clearance. But leaving it last minute can also net you a lower price if you don’t mind decking the halls for a shorter period. Over Christmas 2022, deals were running from the 3rd of December that offered up to 50% off Christmas gifts, not to mention, they offered up to 40% off trees and decorations from the 10th of December.Argos Boxing Day Sales
Argos wrap up the year in sales with the Boxing Day sale. This runs into their January sales, bringing us full circle. On the 26th of December every year, you can find deals on a bunch of departments, with a special focus on New Years' essentials like fitness and homeware products. In 2021, the Boxing Day sale brought savings up to 75% off a whole range of departments, from toys to furniture.
