The most populated city in Denmark is the hub for culture, fashion and interior décor style. It is near to Sweden, as the train from the airport takes you there!
Great places to check out include Tivoli Gardens, an amusement park that is for all ages and looks incredible when it is lit up of an evening. Food is delicious and there is a real range! The Meat Packing District is similar to the prospect of the one in New York. Its industrial appearance makes it look quirky and neo-modern and the mixture of restaurants and food they have on offer, whether it’s Italian food and stone baked pizzas at mother, juicy burgers at Tommi’s Burger Joint or beer and BBQ at War Pigs. There is also a street food market within the Meat Packing District with a selection of fantastic food trucks to pick from.
The iconic coloured buildings of Nyhavn are a must see and a fabulous photograph opportunity. If you walk a little further down then you will find The Little Mermaid statue. It is based on the fairy tale of the same name which was originally written by Hans Christian Andersen. It has been a major tourist attraction since 1913. Make sure to check out one of the many museums across the Capital, like the Open Air Museum or the Carlsberg factory.
Try some delicacies for the area such as a Smørrebrød, which consists of a buttered piece of bread (usually rye bread) topped with cold cuts, such as fish, cheese, meat or spreads.
