FAQs
Booking FAQs
Can I change my Ryanair booking?
Yes, you can. You can change your booking in the ‘My Bookings’ section on Ryanair’s website. Changes can be made to bookings up to 2.5 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. Please note, that any changes to bookings may be subject to fees and additional charges.
Can I cancel my booking?
Whilst all Ryanair flights are changeable and bookings can be amended, it is not possible to cancel your booking for a refund. Refunds on flights are only available if the flight is cancelled, non-operational or delayed by more than 5 hours.
Can I reserve a seat?
Yes, Ryanair allows you to reserve seats on flights. You can secure your seat when making your booking or when checking in. Seat reservations do come with an additional charge, however, and prices start from £4.00 per seat, per flight.
Other FAQs
Can I get a student discount at Ryanair?
Yes, you can! Students travelling during the academic year (1st September to 15th June) can get 10% flight discounts on the Ryanair website. To take advantage, you must be an Erasmus student and you’ll need to have registered your student status at ESNcard.org.
Do I have to print my boarding pass?
No, you don’t have to. You can choose to print the PDF version of your boarding pass but at most airports on Ryanair’s routes, you can use the mobile boarding pass on the Ryanair app.
Can I check in at the airport?
Yes, Ryanair offers the option to check in for your flight at the airport. Please note, that airport check-ins are subject to a check-in fee of £/€55 (or €/£30 for flights from Spain).
Our RyanAir Money-Saving Tips
Other ways to save at Ryanair include downloading the app, seasonal sales, student discounts and much more.
The Ryanair app will bring you all of the latest deals and you can even set up push notifications to make sure you never miss out on a bargain. Their app is also handy for managing your bookings and displaying all of the latest flight information.
Student discounts are available at Ryanair! During the academic year, students can make the most of 10% off bookings via the Ryanair website. To qualify, you’ll first need to confirm your Erasmus student status at ESNcard.org.
Ryanair holds seasonal sales, so it’s always worth keeping an eye on their website during popular promotional periods such as Black Friday, Christmas, New Year, Easter and summer.
Add extras to your booking for less during the checkout process. Ryanair offers ‘flight bundles’, allowing you to choose from pre-selected deals such as ‘Plus’, ‘Flexi Plus’ and ‘Family Plus’. They all include something different, and feature add-ons such as priority boarding, reserved seats, fast-track, flexible tickets and checked baggage allowances.
As with most airlines, we always recommend looking to book flights on dates outside of busy periods. To save money, it’s always worth avoiding flying during the Christmas, Easter and summer holidays.
How to use your RyanAir discount code
- Browse through our list of available Ryanair discount codes and click the ‘Get code’ or ‘Get discount’ button once you’ve found the one that best suits your needs.
- A separate tab will open automatically, displaying the Ryanair website. At this stage, be sure to click the ‘Copy code’ button on the MyVoucherCodes website (if applicable).
- Start by pasting your code into the ‘Apply promo code’ box at the top of the Ryanair website (next to where you can toggle between return trips and one-way journeys). Once this has been applied, start shopping for your holiday and any other add-ons that you might require.
- Enter your details, proceed to checkout and complete your booking.
How do we source discount codes?
At MyVoucherCodes, we’re lucky to have a team of hard-working individuals who are dedicated to finding you the best possible discount codes, deals and offers that are currently available. We also work closely with retailers to secure exclusive promotions; providing you with unique savings that you won’t find anywhere else.
We keep in touch with retailers and brands
Based in London, our Commercial team is a key part of everything we do. They know the industry, and they work tirelessly to build relationships with big-name retailers in order to secure exclusive offers and rewards that are then passed on to our customers. They keep their ear to the ground for any upcoming offers and sale events too, meaning we’re always ahead of the game when it comes to updating our website.
Our team scours the web for discounts
They work in tandem with our Deal Experts, who can be found at our Cardiff office. These deal-finding wizards scour the web for all of the best discounts and promotions around, before loading them onto our website for customers to enjoy. They also work closely with affiliate networks that keep us informed of the latest offers for the retailers they represent. Our dedicated retailer pages are updated at least twice a week, meaning you can be confident that the voucher codes you’re seeing are up-to-date and valid.
We share our money-saving knowledge
On our retailer pages, you’ll notice in-depth information about the brand and researched hints and tips on how to save money when shopping online. This is where our Category Editors come in - they know a thing or two when it comes to savvy shopping. From technology, health & beauty and fashion to food & drink, home & garden and travel, they keep all pages up to date with content that is designed to make your shopping experience that little bit easier and to help you save money in the process. For more information on the MyVoucherCodes team and the company as a whole, be sure to check out our About Us page.
What if my discount code doesn't work?
As a collaborative team, we do our best to ensure that incorrect or outdated discount codes and offers aren’t listed on any of our retailer pages. To do this, we test the codes ourselves to make sure that they work and aim to give as much guidance as possible with regard to how they are supposed to be used.
However, sometimes details change or codes expire without us knowing. If you find this to be the case, you can get in touch by emailing info@myvouchercodes.co.uk or by visiting our contact page.
How we make money
Using our discount codes is totally free, although we understand that this may seem too good to be true. Like all businesses, we need to make money, and we do this via commission-based relationships with brands and retailers - we earn a small percentage from the retailer every time someone uses a code on our website or clicks through to a sale.
We also make money by offering the brands we work with the chance to buy some extra space on our website, in turn giving more exposure to their biggest and best discounts. And that’s it! By using this model, we’re able to do what we do without charging our customers a penny.
