Can I change a National Express ticket?
Yes. If you’ve purchased a Fully Flexible ticket, you’re able to change the date and time of travel up to 24 hours before your departure date. Standard tickets can also be amended (for free) within 60 minutes of purchase, although will incur a £5.00 after this time frame.
Can I cancel a National Express booking?
This all depends on the type of booking that you have made. Fully Flexible fares are refundable (and can be cancelled through your online account), whereas Restricted fares are not.
Does National Express offer gift vouchers?
Yes, they do. You can pre-load a voucher with £5.00, £10.00 or £20.00, and you can do so by calling 0871 781 8181.

How do I purchase a Senior Coachcard?
All coach cards can be purchased online, or on the phone. If you’d rather call the National Express contact centre to book, you can do so by ringing the phone number listed above (please note that all phone bookings will incur a £3.00 fee).
Are there discounts for students at National Express?
Yes! National Express have a Young Persons Coachcard, which will give you a ⅓ off all standard and fully flexible fares. This costs just £15.00 per year, and you’ll get 15% off journeys to events and festivals too. To qualify, you’ll have to be aged 16-26 or be a full-time student.

Unfortunately, if you miss your coach your ticket will no longer be valid. To travel on another service, you’ll need to purchase a new ticket.
