What is a Boots Advantage Card?
Boots Advantage Card is a loyalty card. It allows you to collect points on your purchases and use these later towards a Boots purchase. Every £1 spend = 4 Boots Advantage Points, whether you pay online, in-store, or via the app.
What does the Boots Advantage Card do?
The Boots Advantage Card allows you to collect points and also gain access to exclusive price discounts and points offers. By downloading the Boots app and linking your Advantage Card, you’ll also get personalised offers straight to your phone. Advantage Card holders can also make the most of Boots Price Advantage, a new initiative that gives you lower prices on 100s of products in-store and online.
How do I get a Boots Advantage Card?
1. Go to the Boots website and navigate to the Boots Advantage Card Page.
2. Select ‘Sign Up’ if you are a new customer to go to the Sign Up Page. Returning customers can fill out their details and sign in.
3. You will need to provide your email address and click ‘Continue’.
4. Fill out your email, title, name, gender, date of birth, and address, and create a strong password.
5. Click ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to whether you’ve picked up a physical card in-store and would like to enter its details. This is instead of receiving a digital card.
6. Select that you have read the Terms & Conditions.
7. Click the blue ‘Submit’ button to sign up.
8. If you’ve added a physical card, it should be set up. Otherwise, you can download the Boots app to access your digital Boots Advantage card.
What is Boots Price Advantage?
Boots Price Advantage is a relatively new loyalty initiative from Boots designed to cut costs for Advantage Card holders.
The Price Advantage scheme was originally trialed in the summer of 2021, with up to 50% off selected products, according to MoneySavingExpert. Price Advantage is now available both instore and online, across at least 300 different products. Top brands that have been part of this scheme include No.7, Boots Soltan, Tresemme, and Soap & Glory.
If it's ways to save that you're after, there's no substitute for one of our Boots discount codes.
Is the Boots Advantage Card worth it?
If you shop at Boots each month, we think this is an easy way to save some money on products now and on a future purchase. Think about the hundreds of products covered by Boots Price Advantage too. When you need that one product you’ve run out of, Boots Advantage Card holders can get it for less.
Each £1 spend = 4 points. That’s one of the most generous beauty card point conversions we’ve seen. For example, their competitor Superdrug offers 1 point per every £1 spent.
It’s not only us who think this is worth signing up for. According to SavetheStudent.org, the Boots Advantage Card is the 4th Best Loyalty Card available in 2022, and the best beauty loyalty card listed.
Is the Boots Advantage Card changing?
There have been a few changes to the Boots Advantage Card scheme. These changes started in March 2020. The two main changes only affect those who are part of the Boots Parenting Club or Over-60s, which you can join with an Advantage Card.
So, what are the changes? Boots previously offered 10 points for every £1 spent by customers in these two categories. Now, this is changing to 8 points for every £1 spent, according to Woman&Home. That’s a cut of 20% from the previous reward amount. However, it’s worth noting that other loyalty schemes such as Price Advantage have come into play to offer customers more discounts.

Boots Double Points Events
Boots are well-known for their double or triple points events. These are events Boots hosts throughout the year which offers Advantage Card Holders the opportunity to earn more points on their purchases.
Previous points events last summer included double advantage points on Boots brands for Over 60s from the 10th-12th of August. We can expect similar discounts from Boots this summer too.
