What deals can you expect on Amazon Prime Day 2017?
As you can see from best deals last year (scroll down for the list of highlights) the sale is particularly good for tech and electronics, hence its tag as a rival to Black Friday. Particularly large savings can be expected on TVs, laptops and Amazon products in 2017. That’s not to say there aren’t massive savings to be made across other departments – there certainly are, just remember to exercise caution before adding anything to your shopping cart. Always use a price comparison tool and ask yourself ‘do I really need this’ before shopping fever causes you to press purchase.
They offers discounts across almost their whole product catalogue, throughout nearly every department. Save across fashion, homeware, tech, and electronics as well as DIY and gardening tools.
The retailer's own smart devices should be heavily discounted, record numbers of their branded technology and electronics products were shifted last year, thanks to the huge discounts on Fire TVs, Fire tablets, and Kindle e-readers. You can expect similar prices this year, thanks to the massive success following these cutbacks. It’s more than likely that the Echo and Echo Dot speakers will be discounted too. If you’ve been holding out on buying one until the price declines, then you’re in the right place, strike now while the iron's hot! Bookmark the Echo Dot page,
so you don’t forget and get there before anyone else.
Another tip is to refresh, on a regular basis, the product pages, according to Love Money
new offers are added every 5 minutes, and occasionally items are discounted multiple times. So it pays to be patient if you want the very best deals.
Add Amazom Assistant to your destop pc, its a smart virtual shopping guide, which empowers you to make quicker and more intelligent shoping decisions, you'll buy quicker and you can keep track of your orders and deliveries easier too. When is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day will be held on July 11th. This year the event will be across 30 hours, this is a break from the tradition, and will allow customers more time to sign up and enjoy the benefits of Prime Day, as well as the everyday perks of Prime. The main deals start on Monday 10th July at 6pm, so just in time for an after work splurge. However, savings can be made a week earlier from 5th onwards. According to The Independent
Prime membership has been price slashed down to just £59 for the event, that's a £20 saving, we think that's incredible value. Act fast this is most likely set to be a short term price cut aimed at increasing subscriptions for the sale. Moreover, you can buy four months of Amazon Music Unlimited for lust 99p, unlike the music this price will probably be limited to a very short time. There's more! Do you love Clarkson, May et al? Yes? Then you're in for a treat, Prime members will get special access to a trailer for the brand new season of the Grand Tour during the sale event.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Prime Day is a day of exclusive discounts open only to Prime members. Prime Day was first launched by the retail giant in 2015, it was an immediate success, and in the 2016 event was the biggest ever sale day for the mega retailer, read more in The Independent. In 2017 we can expect more of the same, but bigger and better, Prime Day in 2015 even exceeded Black Friday records, with 398 orders being made every second.
As reported by The SunThe name Amazon Prime Day is a bit misleading, as a large number of deals and offers begin up to a week before the start date. Last year they started on 5th of July, a week days before the launch of the main deals on the 12th.
Each day has its own theme, based on a category or niche of products. The first day’s theme last year was ‘Gadgets on the Go’, where activity trackers like Fitbit and smart watches - like Pebble and Apple Watch - were reduced. This year expect to see a trending subject like smart home assistants grab the headline slot.
The main Prime Day will start at 12 midnight, with new product discounts released every hour. So it’s true what they say – the early bird really does catch the worm. Fear not, the main event level discounts start from 6 am and will finish around 10 pm, each category will feature thousands of new deals and will be updated every 10 minutes.
Undoubtedly Prime Day is a massive opportunity for the retailer, but it can be for consumers too. On this page, we’ll take you through some of the amazing deals, voucher codes and offers you can expect this time around.
