When on the website, configure your journey as per your requirements. You’ll need to select the station you’ll be getting on the train, as well as the station where your journey will terminate – you should also enter your preferred dates. The next pages will show you the available journeys on your specified dates, select the journey and class that you’d like to travel in. First you need to do this for the outbound journey, then you need to do it for the inbound journey. You can then proceed to the travel extras screen where you’ll be prompted to select whether you require travel insurance or not. You can then proceed to the login screen – here you must login to your existing account or create a new one. If you don’t want to create an account, just opt for the top choice, which is to checkout as a guest.
On the next page you will be prompted for traveller details – here you need to enter the full name of each traveller that you’re purchasing a ticket for. The traveller names must match up with the names shown on your travel document (for example a passport). The next page is called “Payment” – you’ll see a section called “Voucher and promotional codes” – just type or paste your voucher into the box and press the blue “Update Price” button. You can then proceed to enter your payment details – press the grey “Make Payment” button when you’re done. The next screen you will see contains a booking confirmation message, if your payment is processed successfully.
