Tesco Mobile

Not content on offering a range of essential services all under one roof with opticians and pharmacies or helping you save on groceries, but Tesco also has a mobile network to bring those phone bills down.

Although they’re not a name you’d normally associate with mobile phones and networks Tesco’s mobile network gives 99% of the UK access to 4G. They do this by sharing O2’s network. You can use their handy mobile network coverage checker to see the level of 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G coverage you can expect in your area.

You’ll also be able to collect Clubcard points with your phone bill. You’ll collect 1 point for every £1 you spend on your mobile bill. You just have to simply connect your phone to your Clubcard and you’ll be collecting points in no time. To connect your phone to your Clubcard you just need to text ‘CLUBCARD’ to 28578 from your Tesco mobile. Once you’ve collected enough points, you can also redeem them as vouchers to use against your bill.

Phones

Tesco Mobile has phones from all of the biggest names to suit any budget. So whether you want the latest Apple iPhone or the newest Android Samsung Galaxy, Nokia or Motorola phone you’ll find what you’re looking for.

For customers who aren’t looking for the most cutting-edge smartphone and are aiming to keep those monthly bills low, Tesco Mobile also has a selection of budget smartphones from only £7.50 a month. As well as phones from brands such as Samsung, Apple and Motorola, there are offerings from brands such as OPPO, Alcatel, Xiaomi and IMO.

With 5G rolling out across the UK giving mobile users ever faster mobile internet, Tesco Mobile is offering a range of 5G-ready mobile phones for their customers to take advantage of faster data speeds.

With a Clubcard, you’ll collect points on mobile contracts, as well as get access to exclusive Clubcard prices. We've previously had deals here at MyVoucherCodes for up to £198 off mobile contracts at Tesco Mobile.

Monthly Contracts

A monthly contract can be a great way to get a new phone. With a monthly contract, the price of your handset will be included in your monthly bill along with the cost of your monthly allowance of minutes, texts and data.

Vanessa Tsai over at MoneySupermarket says that a monthly contract can make phone prices more manageable as they spread the cost of the handset over the length of the contract. Mobile phone networks will often offer customers rewards and incentives to sign up for monthly contracts getting you even more for your money.

To check out the latest pay monthly deals head on over to the Pay Monthly contract section of Tesco Mobile’s site. Once you’ve done that be sure to check out the latest Tesco Mobile discount codes and deals.

SIM Only Deals

If you like having a monthly contract with a fixed monthly fee and a set monthly allowance of minutes, texts and data but you’ve already got a phone you’re happy with or would rather pay for one outright then a SIM Only deal could be for you. According to Holly Cox over at Compare The Market SIM Only deals can work out cheaper, are more flexible and let you upgrade your phone whenever you’d like and are more environmentally friendly.

Tesco offers a range of SIM Only deals from only £7.50. When selecting a SIM Only deal at Tesco Mobile you have the choice of either a 12 month or 24-month contract. With a Clubcard, you can gain access to special Clubcard prices on contracts and collect 1 point for every £1 you spend on your monthly bill.

Pay As You Go

Pay As You Go phones let you control your spending on your mobile the most out of any plan. As Holly Thomas at the Evening Standard points out that you only use what you pay for, so if you find yourself not using all of your monthly allowances on a hefty pay monthly contract, a Pay As You Go deal may save you in the long run. It’s also fully flexible and you can move between networks and packages with ease. You’ll need your own handset to take advantage of a Pay As You Go deal but if you’re not always on your phone and are coming towards the end of a contract, they can be a great option.

Tesco Mobile often have deals and incentives on Pay As You Go phones to help you save and get more for your money. To see all of the latest phones on offer on Pay As You Go, head over to the Pay As You Go section on Tesco Mobile’s website.
